Trust and transparency

Last updated: July 14, 2026

WonderSift is built for readers who want interesting stories without giving up accuracy, context, or a clear view of what is still uncertain.

Editorial standards

We favor primary documents, official statements, original material, and reputable reporting. Articles link useful sources when practical so readers can inspect the evidence themselves. Headlines and images should accurately represent the article, and rumors, estimates, and developing claims are labeled instead of presented as settled fact.

Every article is reviewed before publication. A byline identifies the responsible writer or the WonderSift Editorial Desk. When a relevant financial, professional, or personal relationship could affect how a story is understood, it should be disclosed.

Corrections and updates

When a published article contains a material factual error, we correct the article and add a clear note when the change would matter to a reader’s understanding. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, and style repairs may be made without a note when they do not change the meaning.

An update adds meaningful new information after publication. A clarification improves wording that was accurate but reasonably open to misunderstanding. Neither label is used to disguise a factual correction.

Images and AI

WonderSift may use original photography and graphics, licensed stock, public-domain material, properly used screenshots, and custom diagrams. Meaningful images receive descriptive alternative text, and source or rights information is recorded where appropriate.

AI-generated imagery may be used for conceptual illustration. It is not presented as documentary evidence of a real person, product, place, or event. Synthetic visuals are labeled near the image or in the source note when a reader could otherwise mistake them for an authentic photograph.

AI tools may assist with brainstorming, organization, transcription, proofreading, data formatting, or technical exploration. They are not treated as authoritative sources. Facts, quotations, links, and conclusions are reviewed before publication.

Advertising and commercial independence

Advertising, sponsorships, affiliate links, and supplied products will be clearly distinguishable from editorial coverage. Commercial partners do not receive favorable conclusions by purchasing placement. WonderSift is not displaying production advertising at launch; this page and the Privacy and Cookies notice will be updated before the site’s advertising or measurement practices materially change.
