WonderSift can be read without a reader account, sign-in, or personalized profile.
Information processed automatically
Like most websites, WonderSift’s hosting and security systems may process ordinary technical information such as an IP address and approximate location; browser, device, and operating-system details; requested and referring pages; dates and times; and security, error, or performance logs. This information is used to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, diagnose problems, and maintain reliability.
Analytics
WonderSift uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Site Kit to understand how readers find and use the site. Depending on a visitor’s consent choice and location, analytics may process information such as pages viewed, visit duration, general device and browser details, referring sources, approximate location, and interactions with site features. WonderSift uses these reports in aggregate to improve editorial coverage and the reader experience.
Google Analytics is configured to exclude visits made by logged-in WordPress administrators. WonderSift does not use Analytics to create reader accounts or identify readers by name. Google explains how it handles information in its Privacy Policy.
Cookies and consent choices
WonderSift uses necessary cookies or similar storage for site operation, security, spam prevention, and remembering privacy preferences. Optional analytics storage is managed through the site’s consent controls. Visitors can accept, deny, or adjust optional categories and can use the site’s “Manage consent” control to change their choice.
WonderSift does not currently display Google AdSense advertising. If advertising is introduced, this notice and the consent controls will be updated before advertising cookies or personalized ads are activated.
Contacting WonderSift
If you use the on-site contact form, WonderSift receives the name, email address, topic, subject, and message you choose to submit. The form uses automated spam screening, including a hidden honeypot field, to help distinguish genuine messages from automated submissions. Please do not send passwords, payment details, health records, or other sensitive information.
Messages are delivered through WonderSift’s email service and are not intentionally stored in WordPress by the contact form. The email service may retain messages and related delivery records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
Your choices and changes to this notice
You may read WonderSift without submitting the contact form or accepting optional analytics storage. Privacy questions or requests can be sent through the Contact page. Technical records and correspondence are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above.
This notice may change as WonderSift’s services evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new update date.
